Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen, our center offers various opportunities year-round for both individuals and groups. Whether the occasion is a quiet get away to renew your faith, a crafters’ retreat, or a family reunion, our beautiful facilities are equipped to meet your needs. Our center is equipped to house over 100 people for events of various types.
Location
Our center is located in Hankinson, North Dakota, about 1 hour south of Fargo, just off I-29. It’s just a few hours from the Twin Cities.
Grounds and Nearby Attractions:
Set in a peaceful rural environment, our center offers beautiful gardens in season and ample grounds for outdoor activities. We have outdoor stations of the cross, a Lourdes grotto, and spacious grounds. Gazebo, rock gardens, and fishpond are a few favorite spots that guests enjoy.
Those wishing to venture off-site will find various opportunities in the vicinity, from a swimmers’ beach at Lake Elsie to ice cream treats at Dakota drive-in, the little community also offers tennis and basketball courts, hunting and fishing, and other outdoor opportunities. St. Philip’s Catholic Church is also across the street from our building.
